Osteopathy is a manual therapy that emphasizes the body's interconnectedness and its ability to heal itself. It focuses on the musculoskeletal system and its relationship with other body systems to improve overall health and well-being.

It offers a holistic and manual approach to healthcare that focuses on restoring the body's natural ability to heal itself. It can be a valuable option for individuals seeking relief from musculoskeletal pain, improved mobility, and overall well-being.

Denise specializes in clients who feel “stuck”, whether it’s persistent pain that hasn’t responded to traditional methods, chronic tension patterns, or energy that feels depleted or misaligned. Her sessions are deeply restorative and uniquely tailored, helping the body release held patterns, improve circulation, and return to a more balanced, grounded state.

Her treatments go far beyond traditional massage or musculoskeletal adjustments. She listens through her hands, working with the nervous system, fascia, and energetic blocks to unwind deep-rooted patterns that may be holding pain, fatigue, or emotional tension.

Denise Holland brings over 30 years of clinical experience to her work, combining a strong foundation in Massage Therapy with advanced Osteopathic Manual Practice and a rare gift for intuitive bodywork. She specializes in helping clients who feel “stuck”, whether that means unresolved pain, chronic tension, or energy that no longer flows freely.

Her career began in 1997 at the University of Toronto Athletics Centre and Lyndhurst Hospital for Spinal Cord Injuries. Returning to her hometown, Denise went on to manage a multidisciplinary pain clinic, where her curiosity deepened around a central question: “Why won’t these trigger points go away?” That inquiry led her to Matrix Repatterning and a deep dive into Manual Osteopathy, which transformed her understanding of how the body truly heals.

Today, Denise practices BioIntuitive Therapy, a method that blends clinical assessment with energetic precision. Her treatments are 70-90 minutes in length, intentionally unhurried, giving space for both the structure and the nervous system to reset. She integrates soft tissue release, fascial unwinding, scar tissue work, lymphatic flow, and meridian line balancing, all guided by her ability to sense the body’s subtle signals. Clients often say that “an hour with Denise is like 10 massages in one.”

With over 6,000 hours of advanced training in myofascial therapy and chronic pain care, Denise has taught postgraduate courses in Rekinetix, Shockwave Therapy, and Low-Level Laser Therapy. With an extensive background in mentorship and education, Denise has served as a professor in the Massage Therapy Program, where she is known for her ability to simplify complex concepts and help students build confidence in their hands-on skills.

As the founder of Echo Ridge Academy, Denise is passionate about mentoring massage therapists into the next stage of their careers through Osteoopathic Manual Practice. Her academy blends science, intuition, and business mentorship, guiding therapists to refine their palpation skills, build confidence, and discover their personal healing style.

Outside of her human practice, Denise is completing her Canine Osteopathy diploma through the London College of Animal Osteopathy. When she’s not teaching or treating, you’ll find her in nature with her two beloved Rhodesian Ridgebacks.
